THE BRIEF

Electric vehicles have gained immense popularity over the past few years, with almost every automobile brand making the switch from conventional vehicles to electric vehicles. A lot of the marketing behind "making the switch" conveys the idea that electric vehicles are "cleaner" for the environment.

My thesis, Environmentally Electric, aimed to address the facts and issues surrounding the environmental impact of electric vehicles.

THE SOLUTION

The debate of electric vs. gas vehicles is a wicked problem that cannot simply be solved via one project. Because this is such a widely debated topic, information is scattered across all mediums and often confusing to understand. Therefore, I took this as an opportunity to take information about the topic and funnel it into a user-friendly, clean website that educates the user on both sides of the issue.

Alongside the website were acrylic installation pieces that highlighted facts about electric vehicles on placards.

It is notable that many viewers at the exhibition mentioned that Environmentally Electric hit the nail right on the head of the topic.
